CDIAS (Portfolio Project Manager via Creotech Instruments S.A.) - European Space Agency

CDIAS Project (Copernicus Data and Information Access Services) is the flagship project of the European Union implemented for the European Space Agency (ESA). It is divided into two parts. The initial part, during which satellite data from observation of the Earth from the Sentinel satellite are made available and, on their basis, back-up facilities are created which allow for future easy access to the collected information that have been pre-processed and segmented. The entire process is conducted using algorithms for processing large amounts of data (Big Data Computing, Data Mining). The second phase of the project assumes the use of these data for a broad spectrum of industrial applications of agriculture, for evaluation of critical infrastructure, logistics or fishery. At this stage, the Creodias platform is supposed to be made available to a broader group of recipients, providing not only access to images, but also enabling acquisition of precise, already processed information, which are to constitute the basis for construction of specialised tools for specific groups of recipients. There is practically an indefinitely amount of methods of using such a great quantity of data, enabling examination of such extensive slices of the Earth, which causes the project results to be very crucial for the future.

HYPERSAT (RENESANS) (Project Manager / Portfolio Project Manager via Creotech Instruments S.A.) - The National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR)

The RENESANS (HYPERSAT) Project is carried out under NCBiR grant (National Centre for Research and Development): POIR - Intelligent Development Operational Programme. As part of the RENESANS project and the whole Hypersat Programme, one of the first Polish commercial satellite platforms is created. The multipurpose platform is created in the HyperSat standard (micro category), and its main advantage is the significant reduction in costs and time of implementation of space missions. Modularity and scalability are the leading features of the platform, the weight of which is within 10-60 kg. The project covers preparation of all subsystems, from the load-bearing structure to the power supply system, the on-board computer and the communication subsystem. Hypersat is planned to be an open license system.

    Clean Sky2 (H2020 Expert / Evaluator) - European Commission

Clean Sky is the largest European research and development programme with the budget of € 4,000,000,000, the goal of which is to support the creation of modern environmentally-friendly technologies. Its beneficiaries are consortiums consisting of the world's largest companies of the aviation industry. Thanks to such partners, the solutions developed during the programme have a chance to be implemented on a massive scale. The objectives of the programme are extremely important for the whole environment: among others, 50% reduction in carbon dioxide emissions, 80% reduction in nitrogen oxides or 50% aircraft noise reduction. Projects financed under this programme must be characterised not only by a convergence between their goals and its assumptions, but also an adequately large scale of actions, so that they would have an actual impact on improvement in the environment quality. For this reason, these must be only large or very large projects implemented by leaders of the aviation industry.

Precision in the relative position is supposed to be maintained at the level of 1mm. The payload in the project is a coronagraph, which will be responsible for photographing the internal corona of the Sun. The mission also assumes testing of autonomous manoeuvres without ground support.
